Our team
We rescued all the cats from the streets or adopted them from volunteers.
Each of them has its own unique story of survival. :)
Some of the cats are our house cats , and a large part of them are "yard" cats that we left behind after the USV ("Catch, Sterilize, Return") project because we were sorry to return them to certain locations that proved undesirable and dangerous.
Rambo, CEO
We won't introduce him in particular because you probably already know everything if you've read "About us". And if it weren't for him, you wouldn't be on this website because it wouldn't exist. :D
Lisa, CEO
Cunning, intelligent, protector of all of us and the cats. If you raise your voice or if the cats slap each other, she comes and restores order. :)
The one who learned as a little girl to open doors by jumping on the handle and has successors who copy her: Momo and Rambo.
When someone asks us why we have doorknobs all over the house...here's the answer. :D
LeeLoo, cat resource department.
That kind lady at the counter.
LeeLoo is one specific lady who, if she doesn't get something she wants, will go to your mini bathroom rug and pee on it.
If you are a guest and take off your shoes inside, but don't hide your shoes - may she bless them.
But she only does that when she's angry. :D
Otherwise, a cute and wonderful kitty!
Momo, the main person responsible for all the shit :D
Momo, Lisa's son. Jealous grumpy. Has a fixation on water.
If you fill the bathtub or have a bucket of water, he has to peek in and he always falls in.
Once, as a child, while being looked after by Danijela's mother, he tried to climb down the gutter from the terrace into the garden.
She loves doll or baby strollers - sleeping and riding in them.
Literally, a cartoon character.
Cindy
Mom's sister, obsessed with cuddling. Keep and hide everything feathered and tufted because she will steal it and take it away from you.
Pico, Mr. Goodness
The one who hugs all cats and welcomes them kindly.
Piko is afraid of everyone and does not trust anyone except Danijela.
But when Piko met Željko, he made an exception. :)
Zara
Zara is a sweetie rescued as a kitten, abandoned in the bushes in the middle of winter. She was rescued by a volunteer, brought into our care, and that's how we fell in love with Zara forever.
And Piko too. They are inseparable. :)
Pablo, lead model and mannequin
We also call him Ljepotanović. Conscious of his appearance, he always poses when asked.
He hates the brush, but it's necessary for his coat. Cuddly and good, but he acts like a psycho when a new cat comes - he follows her around and stares. That stops when he gets used to her. :D
Victor
Viktor came to us cut in half and hairless, and he turned into a real luxurious hairy guy. :)
These are his favorite poses and his trademark.
Viktor is one of the best friends, along with Pika. He will never scratch you and cleans, hugs and kisses all the cats.
And he understands everything like a human when you talk to him. :)
Teddy
Grandpa Teddy spent a long time on the road, throwing himself at the feet of passersby. One day, someone caused a lot of trouble at that location, so we asked a volunteer to clean him up and bring him to us so he wouldn't get hurt too.
The gratitude and happiness when he came home warm was indescribable.
Due to the numerous ear infections that were not treated while he was abroad, he developed a polyp in his ear, which was successfully operated on two years ago and Teddy is healthy and happy today.
He lives for cuddles and toys.
Garfield or Yellow
FOOD, FOOD, FOOD.
The one who only opens his eyes when he's eating.
Danijela climbed a high tree to save him because the firefighters didn't want to come get him. :D
Minnie
One who sleeps in a hanging position. Sometimes we wonder if it's a cat or a bat?
Yuki
A cross-eyed beauty.
He was rescued from a feeding station as a baby where he was starving.
A special, slightly grumpy, but sweet cat.
Ruru
Maine Coon div. :)
We adopted him from friends who had an emergency situation and so he stayed with us. :)
He eats dog food. He goes crazy at the smell of pancakes and you have to give him some. :D
Electra
As the name suggests - like on electricity. A fast, crazy, cheerful and wacky cat.
By the time you turn around, she's already at the other end of the house.
She's cuddly, but grumpy. At one point, while she's expressing love and cuddling, she'll slap you at the same time. :D
Oreo
A particularly intelligent creature that we caught one day on a toilet bowl, defecating like a human while sitting down. :D
Oreo is full of love and will hug you like a human.
His best friend is Kaya, our dog, with whom he runs around every day.
He's partly like a dog in behavior. :D
Gizmo
Sweet laziness and kindness. :)
Danijela's students found him as a kitten with a cut off mustache, supposedly done by the neighborhood kids. He had a hard time finding his way around for a while, but his mustache grew back quickly. :)
Fantasy trio: Toby, Mao and Mic

They were adopted from Krapina, so the foster lady posted them in the group and threatened to get rid of them if someone didn't take them because they were naughty and made a mess. They ended up in a veterinary clinic and sadly waited for someone to take them.

Toby, the tripod
Toby was lying in the grass as a kitten with his leg torn off and people just walked by until a volunteer saw him and took him to the vet immediately. He was taken in by the organization from which we adopted him.
Toby is a special cat in every sense of the word and all the cats adore him.
Even though he has three legs, he is one of the fastest cats. :)

A timid little girl :)
Vlado
He doesn't feel comfortable being touched, this was a rare moment when he was little. No matter how scared he is, he will never scratch you on purpose. :)
But he's great with other cats. :)
Moon
A timid handsome man with intensely blue eyes.
We gave up on adopting because there are so many better people.
Boo
A wise lady who combines staying at home and in the gardens. :D
Tara
Grandma who is not a fan of other cats, but tolerates them. :)
He likes to be petted and then be at peace. :)
Bell
A vengeful grandmother - look at her the wrong way and touch her and she'll immediately claw back at you. :D
Molly
A cat that we didn't have the heart to return to the shelter, so we left it because it's very sweet and kind.
Sofia
We found Sofija as a kitten in front of the Zagreb Arena, running around the parking lot. Unfortunately, no one wanted to adopt her, so she stayed. :)
A beautiful and sweet cat, but people somehow don't seem to like black and white cats because they are always hard to adopt.

A shy, kind and timid girl who we barely even took a picture of. :)

Greta was found as a piper at the end of life and fed on a bottle.

Alonso and Mile :)
Mile was given up by the owners when they had a baby, with the comment that they had weaned him off and bought new furniture. What to comment here?
Alonso was left as a baby in the forest in Jastrebarsko with three sisters (who were happily adopted) and luckily they were found by hikers who were picking mushrooms.
Two best friends who regularly hunt in the meadow. :D

We brought Felix from Rab in a catastrophic condition and with broken legs. We cured him and he went from an anorexic cat to a real bear.
And that's exactly what it is - a good bear. :)
